I'm the youngest of eight children from a military family. Joined the Army after high school and served on five continents. Had many adventures! A desperate firefight over a defector... a near-fatal parachute accident... teaching ethics to cadets... a Fellowship in the US Senate... preparing the Army's senior general for congressional hearings.... Upon leaving the Army, I joined an e-commerce startup as an executive. More adventures ensued! Managing enormous warehouses, overseeing technical implementations and chasing business deals from Sligo to Shanghai. My government and business experience gives me a unique perspective on how our government works. In my first two books (Accountability Citizenship and Thy King Dumb Come) I try different ways of explaining how it could work better. I live in Salt Lake City, and I love to cook, travel, and spend time with family.
